07/12/10 EFX Performance, Inc. Doing their Part to Save the Sea

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico has brought much attention to the delicate balance of the ocean. While many people are outraged by the tragedy, they may not realize the full impact the disaster will have on wildlife in the gulf.

Besides oil spills, there are many other problems and concerns facing our oceans all over the world. EFX has been working with Save the Sea to help educate the public about sea life and is set to launch a special line of wristbands to help advocate the message of saving our seas helping to raise awareness, protect our oceans and bring the much needed attention to the delicate sea around us.

Save the Sea is a California based non-profit dedicated to educating the public about the sea in order to improve the health, longevity and living conditions of those that live in and around the oceans. This is accomplished by funding worthwhile programs and events that provide a renewed appreciation of the sea and increase support for those working to preserve it.

To help Save the Sea’s cause, EFX has designed a special wristband featuring their logo and colors to be sold on www.efxusa.com. 20 percent of all sales from these bands will be directly donated to the organization to further their movement.

The new wristband is EFX’s second philanthropic endeavor, following the successful launch of their breast cancer awareness band that has already raised almost $20,000 for breast cancer research.
