EFX Performance Unveils New "Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project" Hologram Band - 100% of Proceeds to Be Donated to Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project

LOS ANGELES - In an effort to support and generate awareness for Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project (ROBDP), EFX Performance, a major producer of holographic performance bands, is utilizing its surging popularity and high visibility to create a signature band in an effort to help save dolphins from captivity and slaughter.

Recently chronicled in "The Cove", Academy Award® Winner for Best Documentary of 2010, ROBDP is an internationally renowned organization created and lead by prominent dolphin activist Ric O'Barry. Famous for his radical transition from training dolphins for the '60s TV series Flipper to staunchly opposing the mistreatment of dolphins, O'Barry has been joined by a number of celebrities aligned with the group's cause: to stop the capture, confinement and slaughter of dolphins worldwide.

EFX has pledged to donate 100% of sales of the signature bands to ROBDP up to $175,000, with a significant portion of all subsequent proceeds to be contributed to the organization.

"EFX's commitment to our cause means so much to our efforts," said O'Barry. "It's great to see a business as successful as EFX doing their part to give back."

EFX Performance has already donated more than $50,000 to ROBDP, with the signature bands.

"Giving back has always been a model EFX Performance has followed," said Randy Largent, CEO of EFX Performance. "Those who support Ric O'Barry's Dolphin Project by purchasing these bands will not only be generating awareness, but they'll receive the added benefits of the embedded holograms."
